At Velvet Witch we are all about the experience you receive while shopping, whether it's in store or online.  Please keep in mind we are a very small team of witches doing the damn thing. Your support is appreciated so much! Thank you for visiting!

FAQS:

Where are you located? We are in the heart of Historic Ghent, at 509 Boissevain Ave, Norfolk, VA 23507.  

What are your hours? We are open to the public 3 days a week. Monday - Thursday are service appointments only. Friday & Sat 11-6pm, and Sundays 11-5pm

Can I bring my familiar in? We have 1 shop dog! We have a big American Bulldog named Charlie that is our head witch's familar. He is very friendly and love scratches. Familiars are allowed as long as they are leashed and well behaved. It is a very small space! We do have a back area, so if dogs aren't your thing, feel free to call or text us (757) 938-8999 and we will be happy to put them in the back so you can enjoy your shopping experience. 

How do your services work? We have a link conveniently located under the service tab here on the site, with all of the service descriptions and booking info needed.  You can also find us on Facebook and Instagram @velvetwitch and click on the book button to book a service. Some healing services such as crystal healings are performed outside of shop hours, so please email hello@velvetwitch.com for more info on these services and to manually book your appt. 

How do I submit products to sell? We are not currently taking any new vendors at our new location.  However if you're interested in popping up, shoot us an email.  

Do you have gift cards? We do! Our gift cards are made by us and can be purchased in store.  We are working on getting gift cards to be used in our online shop! 

Are your crystals & herbs ethically sourced? We wouldn't have it any other way. We work with crystal wholesalers who own their own mines and who care about the people that are a part of the whole process.  Our herbs are all organic and food grade herbs ethically sourced.  We currently have a garden where we source and dry our house grown herbs for cleansing practices.  We also believe in teaching the history of the uses of these medicines from the Indigenous people who cultivated the practice and usage. 

POLICIES:

 

Return/Exchange Policy: We do not accept returns both online and in store. If you'd like to exchange something we'd be happy to do so as long as what you're exchanging is able to be resold, IN STORE ONLY WITH VALID RECEIPT. We can also offer you a store credit, IN STORE ONLY WITH VALID RECEIPT! For online purchases, if something has a manufacturing defect or damage, please email us at hello@velvetwitch.com and we will work with you to make it right!
